Description: The master books are essential documentary pieces for the study of any heritage fund. In this case, which belongs to the Heras d’Adri fund, they record all the documents (both paper and parchment) that at that time constituted the heritage archive and reflect the classification given to the fund. The territorial scope of the documentation, coinciding with the properties of the Heras, includes different counties, but especially those of the Gironès, the Pla de l’Estany and the Alt Empordà.
It contains the list of all the documents (both paper and parchment) with their records, prior to 1834, grouped by document types. There are a total of 535 registrated documents. At the beginning of the book there is a prologue (3 f.) which explains the reasons that led the author to write it. The book begins with the index proper (41 f.) and continues with the regest of the documents (p.1 to 641). On page 133, a genealogy of the house Camps de Santa Llogaia d’Àlguema is represented. At the end of the book (p.641 to 651) there is a list of notaries in Girona city.
