Description

The stone of Sant Roc is a witness to the cholera epidemics that were experienced throughout Europe during the 19th century. Torelló is not exempt from the ravages of this disease. So much so, that some neighbors dedicated a small chapel to Sant Roc who was invoked against epidemics. The sanctuary was destroyed during the civil war and a few years later the stone was erected in its place.
