Description: Between 1898 and 1899, in the midst of the colonial crisis, the governing bodies of a company with interests in the Philippines document their deliberations before the war with the United States and the Philippine insurrection. This set of documents is a direct testimony of the last moments of the Spanish colonial presence in the Asian archipelago, and reflects the impact of a global conflict on the economic and administrative structures linked to Catalonia.
