Description

Throughout the Franco regime, and almost until 1980, cultural entities had to ask for permission for all the activities that were carried out, such as a dance, a performance of Pastorets or a weekly meeting. In addition, the presence of inspectors who took note of everything that was done and who imposed fines or collected the 5% tax was very common. This practice was taken advantage of by fraudsters posing as inspectors.

The notice of the Provincial Board for the Protection of Minors points out that “desaprensivos elements, valiendos de similar documentation suplantan menudo la personality de nuestros inspectores” and provides data to identify them correctly.
