Description

This document contains the founding statutes of the commercial company Helicopteración Pescara Sociedad Anónima, established in Barcelona in 1919. It is a notarial document that establishes the purpose, structure and legal regime of a company dedicated, probably, to the innovative technology of aviation or aeronautical engineering, at a time when mechanical flight was beginning to expand in Europe. The name “Pescara” refers to the inventor Raúl Pateras Pescara, pioneer of the helicopter. It reflects Catalonia’s commitment to innovation and industrial modernization. The creation of a society dedicated to aeronautical technology in this period shows Catalonia’s connection with the great European currents of technical and business progress, and its willingness to participate actively in the construction of a modern and technologically advanced Europe.
