Description

The phenomenon of summering in Puigcerdà and Cerdanya led to the construction of sumptuous summering towers in an eclectic style from the 1880s. These large houses transformed the town’s urban planning and are part of its current charm. The only plans and drawings we have of all these houses are the plans of Quinta Eulàlia, the tower of the Buxareu family which was bought and renovated by this family of industrialists from Barcelona between 1879 and 1880. Today this unique house is preserved and is the seat of the Regional Council of Cerdanya.
