Description

The audiovisual, 25 minutes and 35 seconds long, was promoted at the initiative of the Borges Blanques municipal market and festival commission in 1964. The audiovisual has different parts: a presentation of the city, its buildings, its industry, its Plaza del Terrall as a meeting place, the sardana dances, etc. It continues with the presentation of the religious festivity of Corpus Christi, its carpets of flowers and its processions. A brief summary of the most outstanding activities of the Festa Major de les Borges Blanques: fireworks, cycling races, wrestling sports, shows and the marquee, etc. The audiovisual continues, with the presentation of the city’s III Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, the festival of the three tombs to celebrate Sant Antoni Abat and the awards ceremony and the cultural activities of the city of Les Borges Blanques by its mayor.
