Addressed to the national unions of the European Committee of Solidarity with students in Spain and Portugal, the document reflects the desire to denounce the repression and to establish alliances with other European university movements. It is a key source for understanding the transnational dimension of the struggle for civil liberties and rights, and shows how Catalan students actively participated in the construction of a democratic and supportive Europe.
