The book of acts of the Plenum of the local corporation of Amposta between 1936 and 1938 is a key document to understand the political and social transformation that the municipality experienced during the first years of the Civil War. This record reflects the impetus of the collectivist movement and the creation of the Amposta General Collective, an experience of worker and peasant self-management that deeply marked the territory. The proceedings show how local institutions adapted to a new model of governance based on direct participation and solidarity. In the European context, this document connects with other revolutionary experiences that emerged in times of crisis, and highlights the organizational capacity of local communities. It is an essential source to recover democratic memory and to understand the plurality of paths that the construction of Europe has taken from the ground up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":13922,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"eix":[3],"class_list":["post-12920","document","type-document","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","eix-sistema-institucional-i-governanca"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
