Pere Monegal’s will, dated 1561, is a document of great historical value preserved in the Riart fund, the most important heritage fund guarded by the Segri\u00e0 County Archives. This scroll stands out not only for its legal and heritage content, but also for being written in Catalan, which makes it a valuable witness to the language and culture of the 16th century.
