A tradition of the monastery of Sant Antoni and Santa Clara de Barcelona attributes its foundation to Agn\u00e8s de Peranda and Clara de Janua, nuns and nieces of Saint Clara of Assisi, who are said to have arrived on the coast of Barcelona from Italy in a boat without oars or sails and where they disembarked they founded the monastery. In addition to containing a graphic representation of the view of the city of Barcelona at the beginning of the 18th century, this document is part of the type of devotional graphic documentation (like the joys) that from the 18th century to the present day is used to exalt the devotions to certain sanctified or beatified figures and that lie at the heart of the religious tradition and identity of the peoples.
