On March 16, 1231 and at the notary of the city of Vic, Berenguer Fi, of Vic, appointed Pere Ferrer as his attorney over six sacks of cotton and two baskets or sacks of licorice, and two bundles of cumin that he placed and weighed in the ship of Serubert Porre in the port of the city of Acre as stated in the cartulary of the said ship. Everything that Pere Ferrer does for him will be considered firm and certain, and he commands Serubert Porre and Esteve de Rubi\u00f3, clerk of the said ship, to give him everything as if it were his own \u2500 of the said Pere Ferrer.
